Arianna has been brought up by her Uncle Liam and Aunt Marie, they brought her with them when they left Scottland. She only lets her brogue through when she is with her horse Fyne. For the past ten years she has been plagued by dreams of her death. Today is All Halows Eve and she is looking forward to the party at the Huntingtons.
Edward Huntington has been friends with Arianna since they moved nearby. Back then they used to frolic together now they are of the age for him to court her if he wishes. He has been busy learning his family's business. Today he is free and is on his way to see Arianna.
Something strange has just occurred to Arianna. She hears a male voice say "I'll find you" and then a loud whosshing sound has her clinging to the rock. She had just fallen when Edward shows up. Would he believe her if she told him about what occured? Nah I will just say I missed breakfast. What is really happening with Arianna? Whose voice did she hear?
I believe Ms. Purington did a good job with this story. She kept me intrigued, I wanted to know more about Arianna and what was happening to her. I loved solving the mystery of the man who's voice she hears. This story is well written and nicely paced. I have no complaints for this project. The length is perfect for me, just right to sink into.
